Wow....

I know I've been stifled. But the last blog was quite a while ago.

Been doin a lot of thinking and some studying recently.... and Jesus is beatin me up on some things. Will get back to ya on that.

What's your sin worth?

Yesterday I paused and watched a motorcade escort the body of the latest casualty of the war from our area. Many people lined the roads and paid some respect, and along with the police escort, a hundred or so other motorcycles joined the procession. I quietly thanked the soldier for his service, but I felt something else come to mind... I do not fully understand the depth of my own sin. Whoa! Where'd that come from? According to Romans 5, death entered the world through ONE man's sin. So death, even this soldier's death, came through Adam's sin. So I wonder, what is my sin worth? What is the combined sin of all mankind worth? What is your sin worth? Do we really understand our sin?

How do you start this thing?

I feel like a kid who wants to drive a big truck but can't reach the pedals. I'm sure I'll get it over time, but right now I just gotta settle in.
